About Davis

Davis Ashura is an epic fantasy author known for the series' "The Castes and Outcastes: An Asian Indian Epic Fantasy" and "The Chronicles of William Wilde." He's sold over 100K copies thus far and is showing no signs of slowing down. Davis grew up on writers like J.R.R. Tolkien, Patricia McKillip, Stephen R. Donaldson, Robert Jordan, David Eddings, and Anne McCaffrey which he says makes him old. Nowadays he makes time for Brent Weeks, Robert V.S. Redick, and Martha Wells, though balancing reading and writing his sometimes a challenge.

Davis is working on a series titled Instrument of Omens. The series is part of his Anchored World universe, and is a follow on of sorts to the Castes and the OutCastes and also William Wilde. When Davis told us about his new book and said "A god thought long dead stirs to life. And he remembers his enemies all too well. Even if they don't remember themselves." we were all hooked.
